Welcome to A Weed's Worth!
After a long dry spell with no changes, the site is
blooming again. Changes are happening throughout the site
and new plants will be sprouting regularly.
I have added a new feature on the newest plant pages -
"tags". These are keywords for the plant that
will give you more specifics when you utilize our site
search. For example, you could search for these tags:
fall flowers, butterflies, perennial, yellow flowers,
etc. I will be adding these to the existing plant pages
too.

If you ever get bored with the Nature around you, think of this quote. All you have to do is sit on the ground in a park and really look. You can see all kinds of tiny flowers and plants that you probably don't normally notice. For example, the Balloon Vine (pictured at left) has flowers that are only ~3 mm wide!
Our main purpose with this website is to give you a new appreciation of Nature around you. We don't discriminate because of size or showiness of flower. Every plant is important, useful, or at the least, beautiful in its own way.
We hope that our website leads you to discover the
hidden value and beauty of Nature at your feet.
