Photography is one of my favorite hobbies. Extreme closeups are especially interesting. I am constantly taking plant pictures, so more will be added often. Update: My husband, Dave, is now really into taking plant pics too, so some of the pictures you see may be his :)

FAQ

Q. Why do some of the wallpapers look so much alike?
A. I often include a version of the wallpaper for "lefties" as well as "righties". (My mom is left-handed.)

Q. Why are the wallpapers so big? They don't fit on my screen!
A. The wallpapers are a "one size fits all" kind of thing. They work for any size screen up to 1600x1200. (In Windows, under Display Properties | Desktop, just set your position to stretch instead of center.)

The pictures here are plants that were shot in the "wild". These include Texas natives, as well as introduced non-native species.

In the Garden

These plants that were photographed in a garden situation - whether or not they were planted there :) Texas natives may be included here if they were cultivated.
